What is Andlil?

Originally Andlil is a personal blog like hundreds of millions on the web. This blog was founded on June 29^th, 2010 by Benoist Rousseau to share his passion in the field of trading and economics.

After several months of writing and almost no visitors on the blog, an article on Liberation.fr on August 11^th, 2011 made the site known to the public. Both the audience and the server exploded and to deal with the avalanche of questions, a trading and financial markets forum was established a few days after the article on the Liberation site was released.

Gradually, passionate people have joined the forum to share their ideas, their doubts, their successes and failures, to move forward together in an environment that respects everyone, which is unfortunately rare on the Net. 5 years later in 2016, the Andlil forum has more than 430,000 messages, more than 1500 posts, hundreds of videos and thousands of traders who read it daily.

Overwhelmed by the success of the site, unable to manage this evolution technically (managing a large dedicated server is a business) and no longer having time to manage a site of this importance and trade in quality, I then sold the site in July 2016 to Captain Trader, a subsidiary of IT-Finance, ProRealTime's parent company, to take charge of the technical and time consuming aspects of the site.

Partnership is obvious to me: ProRealTime Trading offers both the ProRealTime trading software and the 2 brokerage offers, the one to trade futures and also the one to trade limited risk CFDs that I have been using for my own trading since 2004 and 2011 respectively.

This evolution has allowed me to keep the most interesting for a blogger, writing and creating content while allowing me to trade without worrying about the time-consuming technical tasks of managing a site.
